The Cube67 Diagnostics Gateway fieldbus system is a high-performance fieldbus system that provides technicians with extensive diagnostics and facilitates monitoring, maintenance and repairs of several systems and machines.

The diagnostics gateway itself is connected as a device to the bus and then communicates status and error information wirelessly to a tablet.

The information is then updated to real-time, allowing for example an immediate verification of all repairs.

While the prototype was designed to communicate via bluetooth to an Android tablet, the release candidate in the end got a WiFi interface. This happened to account for the usage of the device in highly secure areas, that for example would prohibit the use of devices with built-in cameras.
